Right in the exam hall!!

My classmates are habituated to see me sit still instead of writing in the exam hall. I usually observe my classmates as well as friends and hall invigilators during the exam period. My friends cum fellow examinees are busy writing down to fulfill the need of the question paper and the only job I do is to see them happy and tensed while writing and thinking. As I don't do any particular job there, it's obvious for me to have an eye contact with the invigilators. I think they are astonished to see me sitting comfortably without doing the thing I have to and pass words among themselves. They also try to observe me to secure the unfair means as it is obvious that I don't know anything and may try to poke other. With the passing of time, the situation between the invigilators and the students become easy, assistants serve the invigilators very light snacks and they really enjoy it! I too enjoy the common scenes regularly. It seems that I'm the same guy who is the constant observer. However, I'm one of the fortunate persons who has the opportunity to observe sharply and constantly his fellow examinees during a serious test!

Some questions are arisen from the story. Why don't or can't I write in the exam hall? Why do I write this here? Is it good for me to do the thing I explained earlier? How can I overcome this? Am I the only person responsible for this kind of situation?
